Nice THings Vol. 2
🌻Nice things that have happened recently🌻:
💝💝I held the door for the FEDEX delivery guy who was carrying a huge box. We chatted about how much of a mission it is to go up the stairs in my building. I told him I was in the process of moving and that I understood the stair struggle. Later, he was in his truck about to leave, but saw me struggling with a piece of furniture and yelled across the road "can I come help you?!"
🥰🥰Witnessed a cashier asking a customer to wait behind the designated line. The cashier added "but just so you know I'm not upset with you! I know you can't see my face, but I'm smiling under here!"
☎️☎️I had to call my bank's customer service line and I asked the person who picked up how they were doing that day. I ended up talking to her (Sam in Newfoundland) for half an hour. We talked about her kids, the struggle of her not being able to have extra help from her in laws, the things we miss, the restrictions in place. At the end she said "sorry I didn't realize I went on for so long, what were you looking for again?"
🥲🥲My 83 year old Nana sending our whole family photos of the samosa pastry strips she was trying from a tutorial on You Tube.
🐑🐑A toddler sees me carrying a box and asks "HELLO WHAT'S IN THERE?" in the cutest little voice. It made both me and their mum laugh.
