Safekeeping creativity

Choosing myself looks like making intentional time for my creative pursuits; the activities that put me in flow and light a fire of creative excitement within me.

It's so easy for me to sacrifice creative time to things that feel more productive, or to social media scrolling, or to the agendas of my loved ones.

As life picks up, it's important to carve out tiny pockets of creative play and to protect that time. Maybe it's thrift shopping, painting, singing, or sewing. We all have infinite creativity within us and allowing ourselves to explore it is an often overlooked component of self-love.

I hope you find some time this week to say hello to your inner artist and honour them with protected time to play.
